Real Madrid’s legendary captain Sergio Ramos has turned down a two-year contract offer from the La Liga Champions in a bid to hasten his move out of the club.
Recent reports by Mundo Deportivo revealed that the 35-year-old Spaniard is keen on a move to another European club as a free agent. He has allegedly informed Real Madrid that he wants out, a reason why he rejected their offer, which included a mandatory 10% pay cut.

However, Madrid are reluctant to let Ramos go without a suitable replacement. Hence, they have set their sights on signing Austrian superstar David Alaba on a free transfer.
Ramos himself has reportedly set his sight on a move to a Premier League club, with Manchester City as the likely destination. Meanwhile Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in the experienced defender.
