Report: Moses may return to Chelsea on emergency

According to reports by Daily Mail all players returning from loan will be blocked from Premier League action and will only be allowed to play in an emergency situation.

An example of Chelsea which has over 27 players on loan was cited by the source as to why it would be unfair to allow the use of players returning from loan this summer.

“We’ve been told it will take a situation where the goalkeeper has to play centre-forward or the centre-forward has to go in goal for these players to be allowed to play,” the source said.

“A lot of players will be in limbo over the next couple of months and will probably have to train at home for a period.”

For ex-Nigerian international Victor Moses, it implies he may feature for the London club on emergency if he fails to extend his loan agreement with Inter Milan.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner has been training with his Nerazzurri teammates ahead of the Coppa Italia clash against Napoli on Saturday, June 13.

Calcio Mercato reported that Inter Milan are eager keen on signing the 29-year-old on a permanent deal but want Chelsea to reduce their €12 million asking price.
