Argentine superstar Lionel Messi has finally revealed his plans for the future with the Albiceleste. The 35-year-old maestro had a quick fire interview with TyC Sports few moments after their thrilling world cup final with France.
Asked if he’s played his last game for Argentina, Lionel Messi said “No, I’m NOT gonna retire from the national team. I want to keep playing as World Cup champions with Argentina shirt.”
Messi also went on to express his joy over his long awaited world cup trophy. “It’s simply unbelievable,” he said. “I knew that God was going to give me the Cup, I was sure — it was a big joy for us.”
“I had this big dream since long time, I wanted to close my career with World Cup. I can’t ask more than this,” he concluded.
