Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has taken to social media to bid an emotional farewell to his boyhood club Manchester United after his 2-year loan spell with the club came to an end.
The 31-year-old player admitted in one of his recent Instagram posts, that it was a dream for him to wear Manchester United shirt and he will forever cherish that honour.
Despite not getting enough game time, Odion Ighalo was thankful to manager Solskjaer for giving him a chance even when others didn’t believe in him.

Ighalo has been a spectacular footballer for many years. Prior to joining Manchester United, he scored 131 goals in 322 appearances across his club career.
He also scored 5 fantastic goals in his 23 appearances for United, most notably was his 28th minute volley in United’s 5-0 Europa League victory over LASK in March 2020.
