Several Nigerians have taken to social media to criticize the decision of football governing body FIFA, to omit Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala from 2020 FIFPro XI.
Oshoala have been superb right from the beginning of 2020. One of her fans pointed out that the four times African player of the year scored 35 goals in 33 games for Barcelona Feminine in 2020 and 57 goals in her last 49 League games.

But she was overlooked, while someone like Meghan Rapinoe who barely played a game throughout 2020 made the list.
Instablog9ja recently questioned if it was right for FIFA to ignore Asisat Oshoala while recognising Meghan Rapinoe in their 2020 FIFPro XI and majority of the fans criticised that decision.
