Black Stars were left with the option to leave Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja after the lights went off.
According to presumptions, Black Stars exceeded their allocated time for training at the stadium. They were asked to leave the pitch for groundsmen to work on, which they didn’t adhere to despite pleas from officials of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Black Stars will play the second leg of the 2022 world cup against Nigeria on Tuesday, 29 March 2022 at 6:00 pm.
This training came after Super Eagles played a draw game against Black Stars in Ghana during their last match.
