Messi Rejected His Iconic Number 10 Because Of Neymar
Paris Saint German (PSG) latest player, Lionel Messi rejected his iconic number 10 jersey just because of friendship with Neymar.
Lionel Messi was unveiled by the club on Tuesday after signing a two year contract with the club, with an option of additional year.
Messi opted for the number 30 shirt at PSG, having reporterdly rejected Neymar’s kind offer to take over his no10 as the former Barca team-mates reunite.
Number 30 was the number worn by Messi at Barca when he first broke into the senior set up as a teenager.
By rejecting to replace Neymar number 10, Messi just proved his loyalty to his friend. He also also by this act, passed a message of ‘I come in peace’ to other players in the club.

The sixth time ballond’or winner left Barcelona after failing to extend his stay at the club due to “financial and structural obstacles” imposed upon them by La Liga.
