A handful of famous celebrities, including football stars, have taken to social media to express their support to Portugal’s captain Cristiano Ronaldo, after the iconic star penned an emotional message on Instagram.
Just a day after the 5 times ballon d’Or winner and the Portugal national team were eliminated from World Cup by Morocco, Ronaldo has expressed regret as well as reminisced his time with his national team.
According to him, “Winning a World Cup for Portugal was the biggest and most ambitious dream of my career.” But he was disappointed that he couldn’t lay his hands on the ultimate football trophy despite putting up a hard fight for it. Read below:
