Angel, the very first female housemate that was unveiled last night, got her fellow housemates emotional after sharing her life story.
The 21-year-old Imo State born writer and poet disclosed during her introduction, that she came to the Big Brother’s house to avoid getting depressed as a result of her academic problems.
She attended Marywood College, Ebutte Meta Lagos and subsequently gained admission into the University of Lagos. But Angel couldn’t cope with academic requirements, so she left the school barely 2 weeks after her admission.
When Angel’s mother who lives abroad found out she dropped out of school, she immediately sent her to a foundation school in London to study Mass Communication. But again she dipped and couldn’t continue.

Angel admitted that she didn’t know what she wanted to be in life, she was just “cruising through life”. At some point she resorted to “self harming” as a result of her mental health.
The fact that some of her mates have graduated from school led her to BBNaija to avoid depression.
After paying close attention and listening carefully to Angel’s touching story. Her fellow housemates consoled her with a warm embrace. Maria initiated the lovely act even before Angel could finish her story. She stood up from her seat, gave her a hug, kissed her and told her: “I love you”.
All other housemates including the men also replicated that kind gesture by giving Angel a big hug to console her. That’s just an evidence of the unity that exists among this crop of Big Brother Naija housemates.
