It is a reality TV show in which a group of people live together in a large house, being isolated from the outside world but is viewed by people through the television.
The contestants who are usually 20 persons live in the house for weeks, monitored on a 24/7 camera throughout their stay in the Big Brother house.
During the week, housemates are required to nominate fellow housemates for eviction show then the housemate with the most votes is announced and the audience is made to vote too.
Big Brother Naija is hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendue and in its sixth season with the theme ‘Shine ya eye’. And will run for Ten weeks.
Housemates are given tasks to test their teamwork abilities and at the end, the winner of the game show goes home with the sum of 90 million naira.
The show is usually aired in DStv Chanel 298 and GOtv.
