R&B singer Robert Sylvester Kelly popularly known as R. Kelly has been found guilty and convicted of racketeering in his Federal s£x crimes trial.
According to reports from The New York Times the popular singer was found guilty by a federal jury in New York of s£xual assault crimes, racketeering conspiracy and related offenses.

The guilty verdict on the main racketeering count in the indictment was announced in U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly’s courtroom in Brooklyn.
It came after the jury, which heard from 50 witnesses over the six-week trial, reached its verdict after deliberating for less than two full days.
