Omah Lay & Tems arrest: Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale charges Nigerians take Uganda to court (Video)
Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale has charged Nigerian celebrities to protest against the arrest and detention of rising singer Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay and his manager Muyiwa Awoniyi (Tems).

The duo were arrested and charged by the Ugandan police force few days ago, for allegedly violating the country’s Covid-19 rules. They just regained their freedom on Tuesday December 15.

Despite that, Shatta Wale thinks the country as a whole should be taken to court for excessive use of power.

According to him, Omah Lay and Tems went through all the required proceedure by the immigration and health officials before coming into the country. He pointed out that they should have denied them access to the country in the first place.

Finally, he urged Omah Lay and Nigerians to protest against such arrest.

“Nigerians wake up and protest, you people are good in protesting,” he jokingly stated.
