Leo Mezie, popular Nollywood actor has died at the age of 46.
It has been gathered that he died on Saturday 14th May, 2022 while recovering from a kidney transplant.
Leo Mezie’s death was announced on Monday 16th May, 2022 by his colleague, Chioma Toplis via her Instagram page. Toplis revealed that Leo died in a hospital in Abuja. While sharing some pictures of Leo Mezie, Toplis captioned it, “Actor Leo Mezie is dead. He died on Saturday in Abuja while recovering from a kidney transplant. His corpse has been moved to Umuahia his hometown. RIP Leo.”

Recall that in 2016, the actor voiced out to his friends and fans that he had a kidney problem and they quickly rallied and rushed him to London for a surgery. Sadly, in 2019, the illness came up again and he was admitted to a hospital in Lagos where he was treated. However, Leo gave up the ghost on Saturday 14th May, 2022 while recovering from same kidney problem.
