In less than 24 hours after the report of her detention surfaced online, Jaruma has now spoken out concerning the matter. She made it known that she was bullied because she complained about a N10 million deal that was not done. Jaruma also called out politicians who have made it a hobby to bully Nigerian youths for speaking up. She advised them not to arrest all the youths because they are the ones who will vote for them.

However, after analysing her own situation, she jokingly told herself that she will be the next President of Nigeria. According to Jaruma, some of the Nigerian politicians went to prison and returned to become Presidents.
