The veteran author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie celebrates the renowned Former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi.
Chimamanda took to her Facebook page to pen her birthday wishes towards him. Adichie expresses her heartfelt gratitude through her post.
She is grateful for the time he has been with her family, when her parents ‘were here’ and even after they left, she states that he went through the journey of grief with her family.

Thank you for honouring our parents when they were here – your many Kong visits in Abba, regaling them with your stories, both of them amused, mummy calling you her ‘first son’, Daddy chuckling from time to time.
Thank you for walking this bitter journey of grief with my siblings and me.
