Fans of former Big Brother Naija Season 6 housemate Maria Chike Benjamin have expressed surprise after watching a video of Maria expressing herself in her native Igbo dialect.
The 29-year-old realtor was recently invited for an interview with BBC News Igbo. She was asked by the interviewer to describe her experience in the Big Brother’s house and her relationship with Pere.
Maria told her that she did the exact opposite of what her friends advised her to do. She said her friends asked her to tolerate her fellow housemates even if they get on her nerves. But Maria said she couldn’t just keep silent and let anyone insult her.

Concerning her relationship with Pere, Maria said she actually believed in their friendship while she was in the house. But when she came outside the house and saw some clips, she felt Pere was not being real.
