Former Big Brother Naija housemate Erica Nlewedim has taken to social media to clap back at some followers who referred to her as a beggar.
The reality TV star came under severe criticism after retweeting a message by a verified Twitter user named Kaylah.
Kaylah wrote: “I want funds for my birthday. Cash Money bag money, owo, egoooo, kudi.”

Some people decided to use that as an avenue to insult the 26-year-old actress by referring to her as a beggar.
One follower even alleged that Erica worked her way to the top by begging through the ‘Go Fund Me’.
He wrote:
“Y’all suprised at erica tactical begging don’t forget this is somebody that started her career with Go Fund Me.”
Erica reminded the young man that she started her career back in 2015 and even if she was gifted some money via the Go Fund Me, it is because she’s a celebrity.
