DJ Cuppy files a lawsuit against DMW manager

Nigerian music artiste DJ Cuppy has taken a legal action against the manager of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), Afeare Isreal for libel and defamation.

Cuppy alleged on Instagram that Israel gave an inaccurate declaration that she owed an artist money made from her song Gelato.

She however stated that there was no breach of contract regarding the song, hence Israel must clarify himself in the court.

“For the record…There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers… However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation…See you in court Isreal.” Cuppy wrote on Instagram.
