Nollywood old-time actor, Gbenga Richards was reportedly dead on Thursday after battling an ailment.
The actor was reported to have fought diabetes and other ailments which later took his life.
In 2021, some of his colleagues solicited funds to cater to his health.

Richard’s first appearance as an actor was to represent Nigeria with Hubert Ogunde at the Second World Black and African Festival of African Culture ( FESTAC).
Before his death, Richards was a force to reckon with in the 1990s and early 2000s of Nollywood.
