A trending video shows activist Martin Otse, known as Very Dark Man, regaining his freedom after three weeks in detention. The social activitist has been missing on social media for sometime.
Meanwhile, the Federal High Court in Abuja granted him bail on Monday, June 10 2024. Very Dark Man was arrested by the police on May 22, 2024, for alleged cyberbullying and cyberstalking, and accused of posting offensive videos on Instagram and making indecent allegations against Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh.

Initially set for release a week after his arraignment, Very Dark Man remained in detention until his recent bail hearing in Abuja where he has denied all charges. (Watch video here)
