Nigerian fast rising star Omah Lay has finally confirmed the rumors making round the internet about his arrests by authorities in Uganda.
Recall that Newsblenda earlier today reported that the singer and his manager were detained on Sunday for allegedly violating the country’s Covid-19 protocols.
And while the internet is still reacting to his arrests, the singer has finally confirmed the situation.

The singer took to his verified twitter account to confirm the situation, he also assured his fans that he is doing well at the moment while in Uganda.
He wrote;

Omah Lay is being charged with doing “acts that are likely to cause the spread of infectious disease, Covid-19 and if found guilty, he will be imprisoned, subjected to a fine or a community service.
