Musician Cat Janice, best known for her song Dance You Outta My Head, has been pronounced dead from cancer on Wednesday morning.
In a statement shared via Instagram, her relatives revealed that she died aged 31, in her childhood home ‘surrounded by her loving family’.
Cat Janice was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare malignant tumor. She underwent surgery, chemo and radiation before being declared cancer-free on July 22, 2022. Through it all, she continued to sing and write songs, and to share them on social media.

Her last song was for her 7-year-old son. She revealed during her cancer treatment that she had transferred the rights to her final song to her son, as an inheritance of sorts. Watch Video Below:
