Four months after stepping out from tennis, Serena Williams have been baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness.
The Former Tennis star player has used her time away to study more about her religion, having previously expressed a desire to embrace her Jehovah’s Witness faith.
She got baptized at the Jehovah’s Witness Assembly in West Palm Beach Florida.
Also, she wrote that “According to the Governing Body of the religious sect in Watchtower 2019, study 40, paragraph 14, only baptized Witnesses will be saved.
The player bowed out of Tennis in September 2022 as the greatest female competitor of all time as considered by many.
Her retirement also brought down the curtain on her 27-year-old career in Tennis.
Her active years in Tennis saw her win 23 Grand slam titles, the most played by any player in the open era.
