Rahama Sadau charged for blasphemy, to appear in court Monday

The 26-year-old TV star was accused of inciting blasphemous comments on the holy prophet Mohammed after sharing some racy photos on social media.

She was allegedly under police investigation and Nollywood Online stated via Instagram that the actress will be appearing in Kaduna Sharia court on Monday.

Sadau had previously debunked claims of any police investigation and possible court trial in a series of tweets few days ago. She also stated that she didn’t receive any court order or a press release pertaining a legal case against her.

But this recent report might be a clear indication that the actress either wanted to keep the matter private or was compelled to deny those claims.
