Street pop singer Habeeb Olalomi, known as Portable, lost 100,000 Instagram followers within hours after making controversial comments about ongoing protests in Nigeria. However, his remarks angered many fans. A popular blog reported that within 12 hours of posting the video, Portable lost a significant number of followers. Fans had warned they would unfollow him if he continued to make such statements, and many followed through on their threats. Some fans have pledged to continue unfollowing the artist if he doesn’t change his stance.

Good riddance to bad rubbish!!” Others like @international_hype_man_philzy and @gid_eon202 echoed similar sentiments, expressing their support for unfollowing and reporting his account.
