Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid turned 31 years old yesterday 16th July 2021.
Usually, when a public figure is celebrating a birthday, it will make headlines on every social media platforms and blogs. Then when that celebrity happens to be the Grammy award winner Wizkid, the noise it will generate will even be too loud that the dead will hear it.
Strange thing happened yesterday, Wizkid celebrated his birthday and no body heard about it.
It turned out that Obi Cubana’s mum is being buried on the same day.
The burial ceremony of Odoziaku Akaeze Obi Cubana’s mum dominated virtually every social media and media platforms accross Nigeria.
A burial ceremony which gradually turned to a biggest carnival ever hosted in africa, as several celebrities, businesspeople and politicians turned out in large numbers for the funeral.

This was even as huge amounts of cash were ‘sprayed’ at the event, in addition to several gifts he had got before the event, including cows, foodstuff and drinks. Though it was reported on several blogs that the businessman got about 246 cows.
