Kelechi Amadi-Obi is one of Nigeria’s finest photographer, born 29th December 1969. He is an origin of Owerri in Imo state and a graduate of Law from University of Nigeria, Nsukka and was called to bar on 1994.
Kelechi Amadi-Obi is no just a photographer but a painter, artist and publisher of Mania Magazine in Lagos.
In 2001, he helped co-found Depth of Field, a collection of Nigeria’s photographers and artists and painters under the initiative of people like Uche James Iroha, T Y Bello, Maize, Emeka Okereke and Zainab Balogun; with the goal to attaining photography excellence.
After having spent many years in shooting fashion and beauty, Kelechi started his own magazine which has featured celebrities like Tiwa Savage, P- Square, Omotola and Stephanie Okereke.
