The navy has been starved for new Rihanna’s songs for a long time and it looks like they’re slowly but surely losing hope Rihanna will ever release another album.

They are worried that a new Rihanna album is never going to happen and some of them are even convinced that Rihanna has already quit music.

So what’s going on with Rihanna, and how did she go from releasing a new album every year to going five years without dropping one? Well, as you probably know, Rihanna is not just a pop star she’s one of the most successful business women in the industry with multiple streams of income from different projects.

When Rihanna first burst onto the music scene in 2005, nobody could have imagined that the shy Barbadian teenager would become one of the most powerful women in the industry. Since her big breakthrough in 2005, Rihanna released eight studio albums, appeared in seven feature films, toured the world five times and collaborated with everyone from Jay-Z, Kanye West and Eminem to Drake, Nicki Minaj and Shakira. But music is just one of Rihanna’s many talents, in fact these days a lot of people associate Rihanna’s name with her beauty empire more so than they do with her music.

The fact is that Rihanna is just unstoppable when it comes to business and it was only a matter of time until she became recognized by Forbes as the wealthiest female musician in the world with 1.7 billion dollars net worth.

But what about music? What are the odds of Rihanna dropping a new album in the near future? Well it’s true that Rihanna has been laser focused on her beauty empire for the past five years, there are several clues that she hasn’t actually quit music for good.

For one, back in 2019 Rihanna squashed rumors about her quitting music and claimed that it would never happen because it’s her music that enabled her to launch other business ventures in the first place.

In her november 2019 interview with Vogue, Rihanna addressed her long hiatus and said that although she’s been actively trying to record new material, she’s just too busy to dedicate herself to music full-time.

“I have been trying to get back into the studio,” she said.

Rihanna also assured her fans that she would never quit music. She said: “music is like speaking in code to the world where my fans get it. It’s the weird language that connects me to them me…it was my first pen pal ship to the world to cut that off is to cut my communication off.”

Meanwhile, Rihanna was recently spotted in New York City filming a music video with her new boyfriend ASAP Rocky, which might be another clue that she hasn’t given up on music just yet.
