Nigerian music artiste DJ Cuppy has taken to social media to remember the ugly incidence that took place at Lekki Toll last year.
Recall that on the night of October 20, 2020, some members of the Nigerian Armed Forces shot and killed unarmed protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos, Nigeria.
Cuppy felt it was necessary to remember those who lost their lives as a result of police brutality and to demand for justice.
She wrote on Instagram:
“Today marks a 100 days after the Lekki Toll Gate shooting, the fight for justice isn’t over. I am joining @AINigeria in demanding an end to police violence once and for all. Nigeria needs you! Join us and take action via link in their bio. #EndSARS”
