Controversial artist Sean “Diddy” Combs has made his first comment since video leaked of him physically assaulting his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, in 2016 at a Los Angeles hotel.
In a clip posted to Instagram, Combs said it’s so hard for him to reflect on the darkest times in his life. He admitted that he really messed up and hit rock bottom, but I makes no excuses. He took full responsibility of his actions in that video and tendered an apology.

He said:
“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life. Sometimes you’ve gotta do that. I was fvcked up. I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses. My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it [and] I’m disgusted now.”
