Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is set to make a third appeal for bail after being denied twice since his arrest on September 16 at a Manhattan hotel. His attorney, Alexandra Shapiro, filed the latest notice to appeal following court documents detailing the serious allegations against him. Combs faces charges of orchestrating events termed “freak offs,” which prosecutors describe as elaborate sex performances, as well as drugging and sexually assaulting his victims.

The second bail denial occurred on September 18, with Magistrate Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky expressing concerns over Combs’ alleged substance abuse and anger issues, stating she did not trust him to avoid harming others. Currently, Combs remains at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

Despite the charges, Diddy has pleaded not guilty and has recently been removed from precautionary suicide watch. A source mentioned that he received a family visit and is reportedly “focused and very strong.” His lawyer emphasized that Diddy is concentrating on his defense as he prepares for his upcoming trial.
Diddy’s next court appearance is scheduled for October 9.
