The 27-year-old suspected Yahoo boy was apprehended by Ogun State Police Command on Tuesday for allegedly killing his girlfriend identified as Idowu Buhari – an HND 1 Mass communication student at Gateway Polytechnic Saapade.
The spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi said the suspect was arrested after their team received a distress call at Ode-Remo Headquarters that the suspect who resides at No. 3 Mojubade compound Eredu Ishara, locked himself and his girlfriend inside his room and started beating the girl and hitting her head against the wall.
The spokesperson further narrated that his men got to the scene where the victim was lying in a pool of blood.
Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to having killed her because his client paid a certain amount of money into his girlfriend’s account which she refused to relinquish to him. (watch video).
