Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote ranked 117th in the latest Bloomberg Billionaire Index.
Bloomberg Billionaire Index is a daily ranking of the world’s richest people. The figures are updated at the end of every trading day in New York.
As of 10th of August, 2021, Dangote ranked 117th on the list.
Aliko Dangote was born 4th October, 1957. He attended Coventry university, University of Ibadan and Al-zahar University.
Dangote’s groups mainly publicly traded businesses are Dangote cement, Dangote sugar and Nascon Allied Industries which make up about 1/3 of the market capitalisation of the stock exchange market.
Dangote’s groups diversified to include Buildings, salt, sugar, refineries, flour mills and pasta factory in 1993.
