Promotion in a workplace is something that people always look forward to. There is no sphere of life that does not experince growth, workers in offices experience growth too, this growth usually come in form of an increase in salary, getting to a new position and change of responsibility.
Promotion is the transferring of an employee to a new position which demands a new job description and a higher pay.
At times people do not know how to tell their employers about their need for a promotion. Yet it is easier to talk to their employers on behalf of others.
There are ways to behave and earn promotion without passing a verbal notice to your boss.

Some persons are due for promotion but are not noticed because they do not make their contribution known.
It’s okay not to be loud about about your contributions and achievements but it is necessary for the company to know what you can bring to the table, at such, you will be considered for a promotion.

People tend to trust you when they can easily trust you to carry out activities in honesty and transparency.
Employers will always look out for people with integrity to trust them with the affairs that concerns the company.
6. Be creative
Creativity brings new things to the table and make the company above others because they will always have something other do not have.
Employees who are creative at work may be considered for promotion each time the opportunity come up.
7.Close deals that will increase the company’s finance.
No matter how hardworking you are in a company, if your hard work does not increase the company’s finance, you may not be so noticed in such company.
In as much as a company seeks to give value, it also aims at making profit. And employees who works towards the financial growth a company will not be taken for granted .
8. Head teams
Heading teams or committees in a company avails you the opportunity but unleash your leadership abilities and increase your visibility.
Even if you do not head a team but find yourself in a team, exhibit a team spirit by making sure that your input is valuable to the team and to the company.
