1. Going for an interview without proper research

Any job seeker should make proper research on the company, job description, or other basic things to know pertaining to the proposed job. A job seeker should be able to identify top officials in the company or their names at least.

A job seeker should not ask questions that can easily be found on Google or questions that the panelist expects him to have known the answer to.

Research on company’s values, brand identity, and brand value. You may even want to dress in on an outfit that is close to the company’s brand color or even the company’s Color.

2. Not having questions

Not having questions may even make your interviewer think that you cannot think we’ll and craft questions.

 

3. Showing how nervous you are

It is not out of place to be nervous in a job interview, but one thing you shouldn’t do is to show how nervous you are. Try as much as you can to keep it away from your interviewer.

You can show how nervous you are by using filler words or couching to the table. Instead of using filler words, pause in the middle of sentences and recollect. Try to sit in a good posture too.

 

4. Giving answers without explanation

When you keep reminding yourself that your job interview is your selling point, then you will not give phrases as answers. At every point in your job interview, try to elaborate on points that will convince your boss that you are the right person for the job.
