Channels TV responds to domestic violence claims against its reporter Pius Angbo

Channels Television has responded to the allegations of domestic violence directed towards their reporter Pius Angbo, by his wife.

Newsblenda reported a viral video of a medical doctor named Ifeyinwa Angbo who called out her husband of six years, Pius Angbo, a staff of Channels TV, over his alleged long history of domestic violence.

The woman alleged that Mr. Pius’ excesses with women made him care less about his family and even more so hostile his wife.

Responding to the battery report, the TV station said it will take appropriate action after a thorough investigation is made:

“Channels Television does not condone violence against women or anyone in general.

“The domestic violence matter reported against one of our reporters is being investigated and appropriate action will be taken”, it tweeted on Sunday.

Meanwhile, as at the time of filling this report, Ifeanyinwa’s husband Mr. Pius is yet to make any response to exonerate himself from such allegations.
