Osimhen and Napoli President inaugurates a mural dedicated to Diego Maradona (photos)

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was spotted in some pictures alongside the President of Napoli FC, Aurelio De Laurentiis during the unveiling of an artwork dedicated to late Argentine legend Diego Armando Maradona.

The images was posted on the Italian giant’s official Twitter page with the following caption:

“@ADeLaurentiis and @victorosimhen9, this morning, they visited the Cumana stop “Mostra-Stadio Maradona” admiring the murals dedicated to the history of Naples.”

Officials of Naples yesterday unanimously approved a resolution that will change the name of Napoli’s home stadium from Stadio San Paolo to Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, in honour of the icon no.10 who passed away at age 60 last week.

Meanwhile, according to the latest update from the club, Victor Osimhen is still doubtful to make his comeback from injury in Sunday’s Serie A game against Crotone.

The former Lille front man have missed two matches in the Europa League, against Rijeka and AZ Alkmaar, and another two in the top-flight vs AC Milan and AS Roma.
