Jaan Roose, an Estonian slackline athlete, set a world record by walking 150 meters (492 feet) on a slackline tied between two towers in Lusail Marina, Qatar. The slackline was held 185 meters (606 feet) above the ground.

Roose is a three-time Slackline World Champion, and he said he felt “fantastic” after completing the walk. He added that it took a lot of work to find the perfect moment during the day to walk on the slackline, as he needed to find a time when there was less wind and no sun.

The slackline was made of strong fabric and stretched above the ground, and it held less tension than a tightrope. This made the walk even more challenging, as Roose had to balance on a rope that was not as taut.

Roose’s achievement is a testament to his skill and determination. He is an inspiration to slackline athletes around the world, and his record is likely to stand for many years to come.
