Recall that the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), had ordered police officers to stop checking citizens’ phones.
This is because, during such acts at roadblocks or patrols, these policemen in most cases, forcefully snatch phones belonging to innocent citizens or they tell the victim to pay a certain amount to secure the release of the gadget.
However, against IGP’s order, a SWAT/police officer has been caught checking a young man’s phone.
