Some people make a tattoo on their skin for fashion or to create memories. Whatever reason, you should know that tattoos are permanent on your skin.

Tattoos are permanent nark on your skin with pigment inserted through piercing into the skin’s top layer. The tattoo artist uses a hand-held machine that acts like a sewing machine to pierce the skin repeatedly, with every puncture, it inserts tiny droplets from the tattoo.

Tattoos affect your mode of sweating. A tattooed skin releases about 50% less sweat, and sodium in sweat is more concentrated when released from a tattooed skin. Normally, the skin should reabsorb sodium during perspiration but tattoos may partially block reabsorption.

 

2. Tattoos could cause skin infections

The process of making a tattoo is technical that can cause injury to your skin, both the upper and middle layers of your skin.

3. Allergic reactions 

Tattoos can cause allergies or skin reactions. They may leave the skin with itchy rashes, swelling, or redness.

 

4. Blood Borne diseases

Tattoos can infect a person’s blood resulting in staphylococcus aureus, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C.

 

5. Tattoos could hide skin cancer, especially when made on skins with moles or birthmarks.
