1. Cancer risk 

Most bleaching products contain dangerous chemicals that produce free radical cells which in turn cause cancer.

 

2. It exposes the skin to ultraviolet rays

This is because bleaching thins the epidermis which is meant to protect the dermis 8a layer that houses capillaries, nerve ending sweat gland, and hair follicles.

3. Risk factors of High Blood Sugar

Bleaching cream contains steroids and when the cream seeps through the skin and enters the bloodstream, it can cause the blood sugar to rise and cause diabetes.

 

5. Thins the skin

Bleaching naked the skin is thin and open to bruises, stretch marks, and other skin problems. It also makes it difficult for the skin to heal from cuts and wounds.

 

6. Premature aging

The presence of Hydroquinone in bleaching products blocks the melanin production by the epidermis and makes the skin lighter and thinner. Hydroquinone may also disrupt the collagen fibers which constitute the tissue of the skin leading to wrinkled skin.

 

7. Dermatitis

Dermatitis is the inflammation of the skin caused by the constant use of certain substances. And when can become a severe case if not controlled. It can cause, skin redness, blisters, swelling, and itching.
