Udara is a seasonal fruit that is commonly found in Nigeria and eaten by many. It has a fleshy pulp and a yellow color when riped.

It is called udara by the Igbos, Agbalumo by the Yoruba’s, and Chiwo by the Hausas. In English, some prefer to call it African star Apple.

Udara has so many nutrients: niacin, thiamin, riboflavin, dietary fiber, Vitamin A, C & B3, etc.
