The rumours of Neymar Jr’s transfer to Barcelona has taken a new dimension after the Brazilian forward allegedly rejected a new contract offer from La Liga Champions Paris Saint Germain.
According to a recent report by Spanish media outlet Diari Ara, Neymar froze his renewal at Paris Saint Germain because he’s waiting for an advancement from his former club Barcelona FC.
Barca Universal also alleged that Neymar’s decision not to renew his contract with PSG came after Lionel Messi informed him that he’ll renew with Barcelona.

Neymar is also said to be willing to accept a pay cut from Barcelona just to play alongside Lionel Messi.
Meanwhile, Neymar’s current deal with PSG runs until 2022, while Lionel Messi will become a free agent on June 30, unless he signed a new deal to remain in Catalonia. Fans can’t wait to see that happening!
