Valentine, a student of computer science in Institute (IMT) has reportedly been murdered in cold blood by the neighborhood watch in his residential area.
While the police has apprehended the people who are suspected to be involved in his death, the president of Igbo-etiti youth Forum has narrated how the the unfortunate incident occurred.

According to what I was told as I got there (his compound), the problem started last year October, he sold some scrabb (iron) that was kept outside, there was a woman selling something out the gate, the woman saw him and told him that the iron belongs to her and after much deliberation he brought the iron back, the husband told him that the iron is 25 in number and he must provide it, the cousin brother after hearing what happened now told the man to tell him how much the iron is so he can give them the money, they promised to but never did, the cousin brother said, as he returned back after Christmas, 3rd January 2021, he asked the woman about the price of the iron but she told him he should not worry that they are together, he left to Ebonyi where he is working, just as if the woman was targeting when him to travel, she called neighborhood watch at about 5:00am in the morning to come and pick Valentine, he got a call about what is happening and on his way coming back he was called again that Val collapsed and from collapsing to death.
The woman has complained severally that Val is disrespecting her, so the anger may not even be that he took their iron.
They have arrested 4 out of the neighborhood watch including the woman and they are in cell now at New haven though from enquiry, I was told that they may be moved to State CID today or tomorrow.
