The bride-to-be, Fatima Hassan Fari, died in the Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State on her wedding day.
It has been confirmed that Fatima died at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2021, three hours before Fatiha’s wedding at 10:00 a.m.
According to Islamic rites, she was buried at 2:pm the same Saturday.

“Farewell to Fatima Hassan Fari, my school friend, who left us this morning to go to a better place where there is no pain and she can join her father,” he wrote.
I always had her in a million, she was completely upright and totally humanitarian. She would not judge, but look for a friendly solution, no matter what individuals said or whether they did her wrong. She faced an enemy with a brave heart and would not withdraw from the cause until both parties were satisfied.
I accused her of making excuses for the devil at times. Her slogan was, “even if the other person is wrong you do what is right!”
“Innallahi wainnailaihirajiun Fatima is no more May Allah SWT forgives her shortcomings and reward her good deeds with Jannatil Firdaus. My sincere to condolence to her family and Especially Asacosa’s members . May Allah SWT give them the fortitude to bear this great loss.”
